The opposite of action is not inaction: it is presence.

The mantra from today's daily yoga practice, which was designed to link hamstring stretches of standing poses, with seated hamstring stretches (Day Two from Judith Lasater's 30 Essential Poses practice).

It was absolutely perfect for what my body needed today. After yesterday's run my troublesome right side, and especially my hammie, was tight and complaining.

Funny, how yoga does that -- so often is provides not what you want, but what you need.
